SWI Meeting Monday 9th. April 2018

Our President, Dorothy McIlwraith welcomed members and visitors to the meeting. A small amount of business was discussed, including the Federation Outing to Callandar House on 31st. May, calling at “The Kelpies”, the Victorian Kitchen & Dundonald Garden centre. Anyone wishing to attend , please contact Marion Muir, Glenluce.re-availability  Dorothy welcomed both Ethel & Helen Vance who gave us a cookery demonstration of some quick and easy  “Sweetmeats” recipes. Dieters look away now! We all enjoyed chocolate , chocolate,  and still more chocolate, not a calorie was counted that night.  Kay Wallace thanked  the girls for a fabulous evening.

  Next Meeting :-Monday 7th. May is an open meeting, called “Memories of the Isle of Whithorn.”  Hugh Jaques will show old photographs of the village from wartime and earlier to the present day.
