We have a wonderful golf course almost on our doorstep - St. Medan at Monreith. A challenging 9-hole course with superb views over Luce Bay, the Isle of Man, the Mull of Galloway, and sometimes even the hills of Northern Ireland!

There's a Clubhouse with changing rooms, a well-stocked bar and inexpensive meals served at popular times in the summer. With only a small number of members, there's usually no problems getting a game, even at weekends (though it's best to check when Competitions are held.

If you'd like to play 9-holes here as a visitor, the cost is just £10; 18 holes is a very reasonable £15, or you could play the whole day for £20. If you're a total addict then £45 will give you the freedom to play for an entire week!
